The School for Creative Studies PTSA is excited to host our first Tasting Event!
This event is a collaboration with Durham Council of PTAs, National PTA and the Aetna Foundation. Our goal is to encourage healthy eating through family tastings, and sample meal kits. Local chef, Carmen Settles of Full Street Wing Cafe, alongside our school's food service personnel, will prepare a meal featuring a fruit or vegetable, chosen by students in our school. Each family will take home a kit that includes, the featured fruit or vegetable, nutrition information and a recipe card. We will have language interpreters and childcare services available on site. Please join us and help to make our first tasting event a huge success!
